12,000 Bikes Recalled by Specialized Bicycle Components Over Fall Risk
12,000 bicycles of a variety of model types have been recalled by the Morgan Hill, California-based Specialized Bicycle Components. A break can occur in the front fork of these bikes, possibly leading the rider to fall and sustain an injury. Four breakage reports have been made, apparently resulting in cuts and fractures. A free replacement component installation will be given to those consumers who bring their bikes in to a dealer.
