2013 Kenworth T680s Recalled Over Restraint Belt Defect
Paccar is recalling Kenworth T680 vehicles of the 2013 model year that were produced between January 19 and May 15 of this year. The buckle assembly and the upper bunk restraint belt were mistakenly not made to the specified strength. If these vehicles are not fixed, it may lead the restraint harness buckle to unlatch during a crash situation, increasing the likelihood of an injury being incurred by vehicle occupants. To get these vehicles fixed, owners can bring them in to a dealer. Notifications will be issued by Paccar at some point in August.
