78 CODA Vehicles Recalled for Potential Side Airbag Deployment Defect

CODA vehicles of the 2012 model year are being recalled due to a defect in the side airbag that may restrict it from deploying during an accident. The result could be serious and even fatal if the car crashes and the airbag is not released properly. The company will be asking all 78 owners of the affected vehicles to get the defect fixed for free by a dealer.  The recall should have started last week.
