795,000 Kenmore Dehumidifiers Recalled by Sears Over Fire Threat
The Hoffman Estates, Illinois-based Sears has recalled 795,000 Kenmore dehumidifiers because of a potential fire hazard posed by the items. These dehumidifiers are in danger of overheating, and should that happen, property damage or burn injuries become a distinct possibility. Already, 107 reports of such have been made, totaling an alleged $7 million worth of property damage. Customers are being advised to get in touch with Sears to obtain a gift card.
