Additional Sunland Peanuts Now Subject to Widespread Recall
The Sunland peanut recall continues to grow, with the company now stating that consumers should not consume roasted or raw shelled or in-the-shell peanuts that may have come through a Portales, New Mexico facility. That means that 70 more products have had to be recalled due to the potential for a Salmonella contamination. These items are of various brand names and sizes.
