Amateur Radio Operators Exempted From Ontario Distracted Driving Ban

Amateur radio operators won a five year extension to their exemption from Ontario’s bans on distracted driving. The organization says that amateur radio operators play a vital role in emergency communications. The Ontario government believes that a hands-free device for two-way radios might be available before the exemption expires.
