Arkansas Lawmaker Thinks Current Texting Ban Isn’t Strict Enough
An Arkansas lawmaker doesn’t think a $100 dollar fine is enough for drivers caught texting behind the wheel. The representative wants the penalties to be much higher and hopes to get the fine increased in 2013. He is going to ask the House Committee on Public Transportation for permission to create a study to determine whether the law is even being adequately enforced.
