AT & T Hackathon Tries to Create Solutions to Texting While Driving
AT & T has started a campaign called “It Can Wait” that aims to help prevent motorists from texting while driving. As part of that campaign, they created a Hackathon. This event involved a group of computer experts coming together over a couple of days to figure out a way to impede texting while behind the wheel. Participants in the Santa Monica-based competition qualified for a $20,000 prize.
