Australian Android App Lets Consumers Keep Up to Date on Recalls
Australian citizens with an Android phone can now better keep up to date with recalls issued throughout the country thanks to an app called Recalls Australia. Already available on other phones, the app from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission can now be downloaded for free by Android users. The deputy chair of the ACCC is touting the benefits of the technology, which allows consumers to get updates to product recalls and browse archives, an important tool for someone out and about looking to purchase used goods whose safety they’re not sure about.
