Bedford Recalls One Lot of Vecuronium Bromide For Particulate Hazard

Bedford Laboratories of Bedford, Ohio announced that they have issued a voluntary recall of a particular lot of vecuronium bromide. This nationwide recall is aimed at hospitals and doctors who inject the recalled item with anesthesia. The item has a lot number of 2067134 and an expiration date of May 31, 2013. These were shipped between August and November 2011. The recall is due to the discovery of particulate matter in a number of vials in the lot, which could cause medical complications.
