Bike Safety and Helmet Day Held in Auburn, Massachusetts
Auburn, Massachusetts was the site of a bike safety course geared toward children on Saturday. The Bike Safety and Helmet Day, which was put on by the Auburn/Webster Lodge of Elks 2118, found children receiving free helmets and Auburn Police stressing the importance of hand signals. One facet of the event known as Bicycle Alley allowed officials to check over participants’ bikes to ensure they were fit for riding. Fire safety was also promoted at the event.
