Bismarck, North Dakota Police Go After Distracted Drivers

Police in Bismarck, North Dakota wrote numerous tickets during a distracted driving crackdown which took place last week. In just two days, officers wrote 31 tickets for texting behind the wheel. Officers said those persons who were ticketed were brazen about their violations. One woman drove for blocks using only her knees to steer so that she could send a text. Police hope the crackdown serves as a warning to citizens not to engage in the dangerous practice of texting while driving.
