Brake Line Defect Prompts Collins to Recall 282 School Buses

Corbeil, Mid Bus, and Collins school buses of the 2012 model year have been recalled by Collins because of possible interference between a body mount assembly and a metal hydraulic service brake line.  Should this transpire, the brake line could be partially cut and allow critical brake fluid to escape, thus impeding braking ability of the vehicles.  282 buses are being recalled.  The recall begins tomorrow, and bus owners will be alerted to the problem by Collins.  Free repairs will be given.
