British Columbia Police Campaign Against Distracted Driving

Residents in British Columbia may want to be more careful about cellphone use while driving. Last Tuesday, the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia and local police forces started a campaign against using a cellphone while behind the wheel. Officials hope that these efforts will reduce distracted driving as school goes back into session in the area.  A distracted driver is many times more likely to be in a vehicle crash. The fine for an offense in the area is $167.
