Buckle Up For Life Spreads Carseat Safety Message to African Americans
NHTSA data shows that African American children are less likely to use seat belts or safety seats compared to other races. This data has prompted Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center trauma specialists to start “Buckle Up For Life,” a program which hopes to promote education about the importance of buckling up as well as how to properly do so. The effort will be spreading to four new communities that have large African American populations.
