Catching Texting Violators Proving Rather Difficult in Alabama
Alabama is having trouble actually catching and fining people who are texting behind the wheel of a moving vehicle. While officers report seeing people who are breaking the law, it usually takes place at times when they can not enforce the ban, such as when they’re not on the clock. They fear that when they are on duty, people are simply hiding what they are doing. They are also having trouble catching people because of the definition of a violation.
