Chevy Express and GMC Savana Recalled by GM for Fire Hazard
General Motors has announced the recall of 9,389 GMC Savana and Chevy Express vehicles of the 2003 and 2004 model years. Water and debris can get lodged in part of the fuel filler pipe, which may cause corrosion. This can in turn lead to fuel leakage that would pose a fire hazard. GM intends to notify the owners of these vehicles, and free repairs will be conducted by dealers.
