Collins School Buses Recalled for Potential Entanglement Hazard

171 vehicles made by the Collins Bus Corporation, including Mid-Bus and Corbeil school buses, have recently been the target of a recall. Certain models of buses have a Double Door Out that creates a large gap in the area of the support hardware or door bracket. This gap may entrap strings or straps from book bags or clothing, and it can result in serious injury to the buses’ passengers if they can’t extricate themselves in such a situation.  Owners will receive a notification from Collins and free repairs will be provided by a dealer.
