Crafty Disguises Help Moncton RCMP Catch Texting Drivers
Police officers in Moncton are going undercover for a new project which primarily aims to help reduce the number of accidents caused by texting and driving. Since the beginning of the project, which is set to continue throughout the remainder of the year, officers with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police dressed as construction workers, bicyclists, and even the homeless to issue hundreds of tickets meant to discourage unsafe driving habits.
