Crash Threat Prompts Recall of Two 2013 Motor Homes by Winnebago

An Itasca motor home and a Winnebago motor home, both of the 2013 model year, are being recalled by Winnebago.  The nuts that are used to keep the steering gear bracket in place could actually fracture the bolts, and if this occurs, the drivers of the vehicles would be in danger of losing control of said motor homes.  Winnebago has stated that repairs were carried out before the motor homes reached consumers’ hands, so there shouldn’t be a need for owners to worry.
