Dashboard Text Can Pose a Dangerous Distraction
A car’s pretty dashboard might lead to an ugly disaster. A recent study shows that different fonts and sizes of text on certain dashboards might be a partial reason for some distracted driving collisions. In 2010, the process of adjusting the controls on a vehicle caused 26,000 wrecks, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Besides just the dashboard telling a person his or her speed, some dashboards even allow drivers to check social media sites. In the end, keeping it simple may be the best option on a person’s next vehicle purchase.
