Distracted Driving The Target of Atlantic County, NJ Sting Operation
Local police across Atlantic County in New Jersey are cracking down on drivers who text or talk on the phone while driving. A captain with the Northfield Police Department worries that many people throughout the country are being killed in crashes related to distraction and wants to curtail the disturbing trend in his district. The police say there will be around a $130 fine imposed on those who don’t abide by the rules and get caught during ongoing sting operations.
