Ducati Recalls 2,411 Panigale Motorcycles Over Potential Fire Threat

Ducati has announced that they are recalling 1199 Panigale motorcycles of the 2012 and 2013 model years. These motorcycles were made between March 16 and July 12 of this year. The motorcycles are being recalled because the bowden cable cover on the exhaust butterfly valve is in danger of melting, burning, and causing a fire that could hurt the driver and anyone nearby.  Owners of the 2,411 vehicles will be alerted by Ducati, at which point free repairs can be obtained for free from a dealer.
