Eldorado Recalls Four Bus Models For Wheelchair Lift Defect
Transtech, Aerolite, Aero Elite, and Aerotech buses of the 2007 through 2011 model years have been recalled by Eldorado because of defects in their wheelchair lifts. 2,215 vehicles are potentially affected by the recall. The wheelchair lifts’ outer barriers’ roll stop latches can be bent out of whack, and should the lift be off the ground, an individual in a wheelchair could roll right off the edge and sustain an injury. Repairs can be obtained from dealers once Eldorado contacts owners.
