Expanded Recall Issued For Marte Ricotta Salata Frescolina Cheese
Every single lot of Ricotta Salata Frescolina cheese of the Marte brand is being recalled by Forever Cheese due to a possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. A Listeria monocytogenes contamination can cause things like nausea, diarrhea, and abdominal pain, and it may even cause miscarriages in pregnant women. So far, there have been 15 illnesses across the country related to these cheeses. This recall is expanded from an earlier announcement.
