Fall Hazard Prompts Shimano to Recall 67 PRO VIBE Bike Handlebars

A fall hazard has prompted the recall of PRO VIBE Carbon bicycle handlebars.  The Irvine, California-based Shimano American Corporation announced the recall, which affects around 67 units.  The items, which cost about $370, were sold between June 2011 and April of this year.  Bikes with the handlebars should not be used until a free replacement can be had from a local retailer.
