Fargo Police Crack Down on Texters Behind the Wheel
The Fargo Police Department in North Dakota has taken on the challenge of enforcing the state’s recent ban on texting while driving. They stationed an officer at a key intersection. The officer then observed drivers for signs of texting while driving. This resulted in the issuance of 17 tickets over just a couple days. Nearby police departments have put similar actions into effect with regards to speeding violations.
