FDA Accuses Trinity Sports and PruTect Rx of Promotional Breach
The Plano, Texas-based Trinity Sports Group and the Highlands Ranch, Colorado-based PruTect Rx are the recipients of warning letters from the Food and Drug Administration, who is accusing the companies of promoting unapproved dietary supplements as if they were drugs. Because items like Concussion Response Formula and Omega3PruTect claim to treat concussions and similar medical issues, the FDA says they’re in breach of federal regulations since the claims made have not been vetted by the safety organization.
