FDA Details The Post-Response Branch of the CORE Network

In a new report, the Food and Drug Administration explains the duties of the Post-Response leg of the Coordinated Outbreak Response and Evaluation Network.  This branch is dedicated to studying an outbreak after it’s contained so as to determine how to prevent such calamities in the future.  They try to figure out ways to implement safety procedures in the FDA so that they can better respond to future outbreaks, and they let other entities know how the FDA is working to improve safety.  The group targets deficiencies in response procedures and tries to expand tactics that worked.
