FDA Warns Hershey’s Chocolate To Change Misleading Labels
The Food and Drug Administration has warned Hershey’s Chocolate that two of their products have labels that make inappropriate claims. The two products the FDA took issue with were Hershey’s Syrup Sugar Free with Vitamin & Mineral Fortification and Hershey’s Syrup + Calcium. They said the company did not meet the requirements to use words like Fortification and the “+” symbol. Hershey’s has reportedly corrected the matter.
