Figo and Classic Vehicle Recalled from India and South Africa by Ford
140,000 Figo and Classic vehicles have been recalled from South Africa and India by the Ford Motor Company. The vehicles, which were manufactured from January 2008 through February 2011, might have a rear twist beam or a hose component that is defective. The former defect would impede braking ability, while the latter could lead to oil emanating from the hose and posing a fire risk. Ford has aggressively targeted India lately in their efforts to expand their market.
