Fire Threat Prompts Mercedes To Recall 432 SL-Class Vehicles
432 SL-Class vehicles of the 2013 model year are being recalled by Mercedes-Benz over a potential fire hazard. This risk stems from the fact that the refrigerant used in these vehicles, when expelled during a crash or some other adverse condition, could in fact ignite and get out of control. At some point this month, owners should be contacted by Mercedes, and dealers will replace both the refrigerant itself and the lines that transfer that refrigerant.
