Glover Park Residents Worry Street Project Compromises Safety
The D.C. Department of Transportation is fielding requests from area locals who are concerned that an ongoing street project is going to compromise safety in the area. Those residents have formed a group known as Glover Park Residents for Pedestrian Safety. They take issue with the nearby Wisconsin Avenue Streetscape project, which they say will impede pedestrian safety by cutting down on vehicle lanes and diverting vehicles along less-frequented roads. They say a proper study was not conducted.
