Google Moves Forward With Autonomous Vehicle Testing
With 300,000 test miles driven, Google is looking ahead to how they can improve the ways they test their autonomous vehicle technology. They have added the Lexus RX450h to their lineup. The automobile has all-wheel drive that should enable Google to test their vehicles on a wider range of terrain. Google will also cut the number of people in a vehicle during a test to one. However, it will be quite some time before no humans are used, especially given the limitations imposed by law.
