IIHS Says Volvo S60 Performs Well in Head-On Collisions
A new report says the Volvo S60 was voted one of the safest cars this year by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Last year, Volvo also had multiple models that garnered a Top Safety Pick through IIHS-conducted safety tests. In developing the new safety ratings, the IIHS tested the car’s ability to handle a head-on crash. The Volvo S60 fared quite well in this test, which simulates things like a collision with a pole or a tree on the driver’s side.
