Illinois Rise in Crash Fatalities The Result of Weather, Distractions

In Illinois, there has been a total of 536 deaths from automobile accidents so far this year. The DOT suggests that at least 10% of these deaths are due to some sort of distracted driving, whether it be texting, emailing, eating, or playing with the radio. Some of the accidents could also be the result of warm weather, which is bringing more drivers on the road than would be typical.
