Indiana Police Warn All Moped and Motorcycle Riders to Wear Helmets

Police officials in Indiana are encouraging the riders of motorcycles and mopeds alike to wear the proper safety gear and drive defensively when they head out on the road.  There has been a spike in crashes of such vehicles recently, with 109 riders already dying so far thus year.  118 people died in the entirety of last year.  Although not wearing a helmet is only against the law for teenagers younger than 18, officers want all drivers to err on the side of caution and utilize the device.
