Intoxicated, Distracted Driving Simulator Comes to Bay County Schools
Some people theorize that the rise in teens deaths in automobile accidents in Bay County, Florida is due to school district budget cuts that have resulted in some institutions no longer offering driver’s education or training. In response to this disturbing trend, the Florida Department of Transportation and other agencies are providing driving simulators to area students. Simulator training provides scenarios on intoxicated and distracted driving. Adminstrators are hoping that the students will remember their experiences behind the wheel of the simulators and understand the importance of being sober and focused on the road while driving.
