Jayco Recalls 900 Motorhomes and Fifth Wheel Vehicles for Fire Risk
Just over 900 Seneca, Greyhawk, Designer, Recon, and Eagle motorhomes and fifth wheel vehicles have been recalled by Jayco. Ranging from the model years 2007 through 2011, these vehicles might have a faulty electric connection in the area of the transfer switch and buss bar that could lead said transfer switch to overheat, melt, or cause a fire. The recall begins this month. Dealers will swap out the transfer switch for an appropriate component for free.
