Labor Day Finds Ontario Police Cracking Down on Dangerous Driving
Ontario Provincial Police were out in force this Labor Day weekend, issuing more than 250 tickets in the city of Ottawa alone. The charges ranged from speeding to distracted and impaired driving. Throughout the weekend, over 16,000 tickets were issued by the OPP, who are looking to reduce the number of fatalities, which stand at 238 so far this year.
