Lift Defect Prompts National Van Builders to Recall 605 Fords
National Van Builders is the latest manufacturer to announce a recall because of a defect stemming from the roll stop latches on the onboard wheelchair lift. 605 Ford E-350, E-250, and E-150 vehicles of the 2006 through 2011 model years are affected by this particular recall. If the lift is elevated and the roll stop latches fail to do their duty, someone in a wheelchair could fall of the edge and be injured. Notification and free repairs should take place before the end of the month.
