Listeria Threat Prompts Recall of Dole American Blend Salad
Dole American Blend salad is being recalled by Dole Fresh Vegetables due to the possibility that the lettuce could be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Affected versions of the 12 ounce product will have a UPC of 7143000933 and a Use By date of October 17. Available in ten states, a sample tested positive for Listeria, and thus consumers are being asked to get rid of the item.
