Livermore Police Promote Pedestrian Safety Through Enforcement
The police department of Livermore, California is proud of their pedestrian safety record, and they want to continue the trend of lowered collision rates. Toward that end, they are going to be holding a couple of enforcement operations this month. Police will be cracking down during these events on drivers who don’t stop for pedestrians at crosswalks or in areas where pedestrians are typically out in full force. A failure to provide the right of way in the city could lead to a citation.
