Mazuri and LabDiet Animal Feed Recalled for Vitamin D Threat
PMI Nutrition International has issued a recall on LabDiet and Mazuri animal foods due to possibly elevated vitamin D content. Formulas 5025 (Guinea Pig Diet 50#), 56A6 (Mazuri Small Bird Maintenance 25#), 5MA2 (Mazuri Primate Maintenance Biscuit 25#) and 5MD9 (Mazuri Maned Wolf Diet 33#) are the affected products. Dealers have been contacted and advised to notify customers and retrieve the food from consumers’ possession. Any purchases made from the affected lots should be returned to the dealer for a refund.
