Nevada Police Cracking Down on Speeding and Distractions
Local and state law officers in Nevada are teaming for an 11-day speeding and distracted driving awareness and enforcement campaign. State troopers and local sheriffs will be setting up checkpoints to observe drivers and ensure that they are obeying posted speed limits and keeping their cell phone stowed while driving. Law enforcement officials across Nevada are setting up saturation points and 24-hour patrols to help drivers slow down and focus on the road.
