New Jersey DOT Study Shows Pedestrian Danger Areas in Rutherford
The Transportation Department of New Jersey recently conducted a study designed to determine how best to create a proposed Rutherford bike path. What they found was that numerous roads and intersections in the area are particularly hazardous to pedestrians. Automobiles not yielding properly were discovered to be the leading cause of collisions. Officials hope to use this information to determine what roads are most eligible for new bike paths and pedestrian safety measures.
