New Jersey Police Offer Free Child Safety Seat Checkpoint
Recent studies conducted by the National Safe Kids Campaign show that a shocking 80% of car seats are installed incorrectly. One of the most common errors in the installation process is leaving the seat too loose to meet regulations. New Jersey state police are offering a free child seat checkpoint at Monmouth Medical Center in order to provide parents with feedback on car seat installation as well as up-to-date information on manufacturer recalls.
