“No Texting While Driving Day” Promoted in West Hartford, Connecticut
In West Hartford, Connecticut, the mayor has declared September 19 “No Texting While Driving Day.” Plus, one year ago, two area students announced an initiative called Buckle Ur Phone. Their trademarked red thumb band that features that same phrase has been featured nationally across the internet and various print publications. They have had marked success raising awareness about the dangers of texting while driving.
