While texting is a large contributing factor in crashes resulting from distracted driving, another issue is ogling. According to Direct Line Insurance, there has been an increase in Britain in accidents during the warmer months of the year, presumably because this is when people wear less clothing. Billboards can also be a source of distraction when they feature scantily clad models. But while ogling can be almost impossible to overcome, it’s still simple enough to put down one’s phone, and this is highly encouraged.
