Park Brake Defect Leads GM to Recall Chevy Captiva Sport
There are potential issues that have led to the recall of the 2012 Chevrolet Captiva Sport. An estimated 2,070 vehicles are affected by this. The issue is that these vehicles may have park brake cable problems. If the driver is on uneven terrain and the defect causes the cable to snap, the park brake will not work and can lead to unintentional vehicle movement or an accident. GM dealers should fix these issues for free once the recall begins on July 18.
